This course is open to all engineers and technicians whose companies currently use PLS-CADD or PLS-TOWER or are considering the purchase of either of these programs. Attendees should have a basic understanding of the concepts used in overhead transmission line design and/or structural design.
This course is focused on the use of the programs and not on the fundamentals of transmission line design.
The purpose of this course is to limit the presence of the fire risk and the circumstances that can trigger the fire and to control or fight the fire, to extinguish it, and minimize the damages or losses that it can generate.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to know the different types of electrical substations and their diagrams. Learn the functionality of electrical substations and subsequently develop electrical substation engineering projects.
Participants of this course will develop the knowledge and practical skills necessary to approach electrical substation automation projects from the IEC 61850 standard.
